Are you passionate about creating a positive impact on kids' lives? The Metro YMCA of the Oranges is looking for a motivated and mission-driven Camp Specialist to design and deliver engaging sports programs for campers.
- Design and deliver tailored sports programs for different age groups
- Create lesson plans and lead sports classes for grades K-8
- Ensure activities promote creativity, cooperation, skill, and self-esteem
- Maintain professionalism as a YMCA representative
- Plan and deliver age-specific activities
- Lead specialty activities and maintain supply inventory
- Ensure camper safety and follow YMCA standards
- Uphold YMCA core values in all activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, Associate/Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
- 2 years experience in teaching or related field

- CPR and First Aid Certifications
- Ability to supervise and facilitate learning
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to actively supervise children in various environments and lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to command control of a group and ensure safety.
