Job Description:


Are you ready to transform the landscape of neuro-oncology patient care? Join us and embark on a journey where your expertise will shine as you ensure exemplary patient care and create a nurturing environment for patients and their families.

As an APP, you'll lead the way in education and consultation, empowering our healthcare team members to deliver top-notch care.

Dive into exciting process improvement projects, champion patient education, and contribute to innovative clinical support programs.

Your passion for excellence will drive positive change and make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

This role is open to new and experienced APPs with inpatient neurology, medical oncology, or critical care backgrounds

Role overview:
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members

Provide comprehensive care to inpatient neuro-oncology patients

Meet the medical needs of patients

Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum

Key Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited PA program

NCCPA certification and BLS Certification

Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure

2 years of inpatient experience in Neurology, Medicine or Critical Care

OR

Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations

Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)

Related National NP certification and BLS certification

2 years of Inpatient experience in Neurology, Medicine or Critical Care

Hours: 5:30a-7:00pm weekend and vacation rotation required
