**Insight Global** is currently looking to hire a skilled Field Service Customer Support Engineer specialized in ensuring peak operational performance for hardware linked to 3D Printers at client sites.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for offering technical assistance to customers, covering tasks like setup, movement, maintenance, and proactive upkeep.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct equipment repairs for customers, considering their warranty and service agreement status.
  • Analyze and understand individual customer setups, encompassing materials and software used.
  • Evaluate customers' ability and willingness for self-maintenance tasks.
  • Perform assigned preventive maintenance duties as per the Service Manager's guidance.
  • Recognize the financial impact of system malfunctions on customers.
  • Utilize tools like Oscilloscopes, Multi-meters, Laser Power Meters, and Vacuum Gauges effectively.
  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adapt service delivery to match customers' product utilization.
  • Address specific customer needs to elevate service quality.
  • Understand the financial repercussions of system breakdowns for customers.

**Requirements:** Travel may be necessary, along with access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.

**Physical Demands:** Candidates should be capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, sitting, and conversing frequently. The role may involve working with equipment that carries electrical risks, high-power lasers, and photo-polymer resins; moderate physical activity handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.

**Additional Qualifications:**

  • Experience in 3D printer repairs.
  • Military background.
  • High school diploma is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years' Field Service experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant expertise troubleshooting, configuring, installing, and repairing electronic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical device repairs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Computer skills, and Windows operations.
  • Exceptional communication abilities with prior Customer Support involvement.
