Welcome to the exciting opportunity of a Civil Engineering Design position at our company



This role will collaborate with our Managing Architect and our President, who is also a Civil Engineer. Working alongside our internal design team, you will be involved in designing and drafting various projects from zoning assessments to construction plans.



Responsibilities:



  • Direct design and draft site layout, grading, and sewage systems.
  • Create plans for asphalt, and concrete paving and slabs.
  • Assist in obtaining local permits and variances. Attend zoning meetings as needed.
  • Manage survey crews and review civil drawings for approval.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including customers, zoning officials, and subcontractors.


Qualifications:



  • BS in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer License or ability to acquire within a year.
  • At least 3 years' experience in civil design or engineering.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD. Revit skills are a bonus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with knowledge of construction and surveying.
  • Well-organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Experience in concrete and structural steel design is advantageous.
