Responsibilities and Duties:
- Flexible with availability. Can work up to 15 hours per week (depending on the need).
- Calendar Management. (scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and arranging travel as needed)
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures.
- Maintain and update patient records, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle patient inquiries and schedule follow-up appointments as necessary.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as directed.
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, to ensure efficient record-keeping.
- Submit and reconcile expense reports.
- Personal tasks include but are not limited to household organization, meal prep, running errands, organizing bills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school degree.
- Must have a car and a valid driver's license.
- PA diploma or certification would be considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in a medical setting or as an administrative assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and electronic medical records systems.
