IT Support Technician

Job Summary:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN in Bridgeport, WV.

Responsibilities:
IT Support personnel will be required to perform the following tasks:
  • Build and configure hardware and update software.
  • Repair computers and ensuring that they are functioning properly.
  • Run diagnostic programs and maintaining computers.
  • Gather data to assess the needs of the customer.
  • Perform system administration.
  • Resolve incorrect settings.
  • Replace hardware or reinstall the operating system.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Proficient in troubleshooting printer, hardware, software (e.g., Office O365), and network issues.
  • Experience with operating systems (e.g., Windows) and their configurations.
  • Knowledge of computer networks, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Communication and "customer service" (ability to walk coworkers through solutions to their issues, email etiquette).
  • Basic mechanical skills (e.g. skills with tools as screw drivers, etc.)
Job Type:
  • Contract to Direct Hire
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 am till 3:30 pm (hours are subject to change, depending on company needs)
Certifications (preferred not required):
  • CompTIA A+ Technician
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Essential Job Functions:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory
  • Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Positions requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
