Electrical CAD Technician

We are looking for an Electrical CAD Technician to join our technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers in creating top-notch designs for a variety of projects.
This position plays a key role in developing computer-aided drafting solutions to bring these projects to life.
- Assist in preparing and revising engineering drawings based on specific sketches or layouts.
- Assist in the creation and revision of plot drawings.
- Ensure compliance with company and client drafting standards and procedures.
- Follow discipline-specific drafting practices.
- Contribute to drafting design and documentation across multiple projects.
- Utilize standard drafting detail programs for tasks.
- Take part in ongoing efforts to improve drafting details.
- Research and propose solutions to design problems on projects.
- Support managers by working on assigned ad hoc projects.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED with coursework in drafting technology.
- Specialized CAD certification.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Candidates must have permanent work authorization in the country of employment.
