The Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Associate Experience (AE) team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results oriented Principal Product Manager to drive the creation, delivery, and expansion of MyPerformance and other associate performance management support systems.

MyPerformance aims to empower associates with access to information to track their own progress, explore growth avenues, celebrate milestones, and foster collaboration with leadership, which enables individuals to reach their personal goals, all in a unified kiosk and mobile experience.


This position combines passion for fulfillment center associate experience with strategic thinking, hands-on planning, product development, and the ability to define and deliver clear solutions to our customers in an ambiguous and complex space.

The Principal Product Manager is responsible for communicating, aligning, and receiving buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders on their projects for all operational planning cycles as well as driving the early life cycle of projects from inception through beta testing and capturing of success KPIs.

This Product Manager will oversee a project portfolio that requires them to work closely with a wide variety of teams to ensure the best product is being delivered to the end-user.

A high level of cross-team coordination, project management, product life cycle management, and executive presentation skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

  • Thrive in an ambiguous environment/individual contributor role and lead other teams without line of sight to a clear short-term solution
  • Root cause opportunities and extract insights using a data driven approach
  • Think holistically and strategically to plan, organize, and drive complex and milestone driven projects to ensure end-to-end success for the user
  • Build tooling, drive process improvements, and work with service owners and cutting-edge technology to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
  • Govern product development efforts, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, development, and launch efforts
  • Integrate device and software services while identifying, managing and influencing complex relationships concurrently across multiple internal teams
  • Handle business escalations with a data-driven approach to build trust with engineers and Senior Leaders
  • Take ownership of document/roadmap creation to support planning, design and operational readiness reviews
  • Create, maintain, and disseminate project information confidently and on a regular basis to Amazon senior executives, senior leadership teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Draw on customer feedback, usage and operational data, and your experience guiding products to set and deliver on extensive goals for adoption, operational performance, and feature delivery.
About the team

GCF ACES serves as the mechanism for globalization of operational processes and products to support and optimize fulfillment. We provide product and program management and technical solutions to stakeholders across the supply chain.

Our scope inherently includes the evolution and enhancement of operational products through improvements in hardware and software and requires close partnership with multiple stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

4+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with end to end product delivery

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

Experience owning technology products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $145,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
