Distribution Liaison

Position Overview:

• A national contract packaging company is looking for a Distribution Liaison who will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring operational efficiency, and exceeding expectations.
• The Distribution Liaison will collaborate with customers and vendors to optimize processes and uphold the company's commitment to innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and nurture positive customer relationships to enhance operational efficiency and drive revenue growth.
• Stay informed about industry and customer changes that could impact business relationships.
• Act as a bridge between customers and the distribution center to ensure seamless operations.
• Oversee customer orders and processing to guarantee on-time deliveries.
• Handle billing and invoicing for distribution activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage inventory and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in customer visits and calls to understand needs and exceed expectations.
• Promote a safe work environment and compliance with regulations.
• Perform various tasks related to transportation management and shipment coordination.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with customer service and logistics preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP and retailer TMS systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly use hands, sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to see and adjust focus with or without corrective lenses.

Safety:

• Follow company safety protocols and report any issues promptly.
• Wear necessary PPE in designated areas.

Work Environment:

• Primarily office-based with minimal noise levels.
