QC Chemist - Weekend Shift
Summary:

The role of the QC Chemist involves evaluating and testing incoming raw materials, in-process bulk, finished bulk, and packaged products according to standard operating procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, sample, and test incoming raw materials
  • Prepare Certificate of Analysis for test results
  • Conduct testing on in-process and finished products
  • Assist in investigating Out of Specification results
  • Review and recommend adjustments to bulk products
  • Maintain customer standards for chemicals and goods
  • Provide recommendations for lab improvement
  • Assemble and calibrate testing instruments
  • Maintain records and confidentiality
  • Ensure regular attendance and overtime when necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry preferred
  • Three years of manufacturing experience required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of FDA Good Manufacturing PracticesSkills in problem-solving and data analysisAbility to follow instructions, operate lab equipment, and manage time effectivelyWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:
