Overview

Hypori has an immediate need for a Sr. iOS App Developer experienced with building Enterprise iOS Apps in a distributed server environment in our Austin, TX office. As a valued member of the technical staff, you will collaborate in our full agile software development process, including troubleshooting, design, coding, and testing bug fixes and new functionality. You will work on a small team to solve large problems that require serious initiative, critical thinking, eager collaboration, informed risk-taking, and clear communication.

Roles and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Participate in the complete software development process, including troubleshooting, designing, and coding
  • Maintain and communicate status in Jira and daily standups
  • Reconcile product requirements with an understanding of Android internals
  • Implement production-quality features for the Hypori Client app
  • Enhance the Hypori Client app to take advantage of similar capabilities in the Android ecosystem
  • Creation of unit test
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Objective C and the iOS ecosystem
  • 5+ years developing mobile app software on iOS
  • 2 years of Swift software development
  • Familiar with Linux
  • Strong understanding of git version control
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (we are unable sponsor a visa for this position)
Additional preferred skills and attributes:
  • 1+ years developing mobile app software on Android
  • Knowledge of Google Protobuf
  • IOS App Store development and packaging
  • Update automated build systems (Jenkins)
  • Software security knowledge

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Able to take ambiguous requirements and develop a solid test solution
