Responsibilities:

  • Providing challenging academic instruction and tutoring services to project participants during the Academic Year Component and six-week Summer Residential Component
  • Reporting to the Director and Academic Coordinator of Upward Bound

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • Ability to develop innovative curriculum aligned with course objectives, expertise in academic area, and utilize technology in the classroom
  • Ability to engage with participants from diverse backgrounds and motivate students toward academic success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be considered
