Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to address students' communication needs within the classroom.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions.
  • Stay updated with current practices and evidence-based approaches in school-oriented speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license or eligibility for SLP licensure.
  • Preferably holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Prior experience in school settings or with children.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Effective engagement with students, parents, and school personnel.
