Job Summary:

A Nursing Assistant Resident position is open for new graduates or those with less than 6 months of experience. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities, providing basic nursing care, and maintaining a safe environment under RN supervision. The Residency Program offers a mix of classroom and hands-on experiences for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with RNs and preceptors to deliver high-quality care
  • Assist patients with daily routines and procedures
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient records
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Actively engage in learning and professional development
  • Comply with health and safety policies

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of accredited nursing assistant program
  • Certified Nursing Assistant Licensure within 90 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Computer skills for data entry

Physical/Sensory Demands:

  • Walking, Sitting, Standing, Reaching, Lifting, Carrying
  • Climbing, Crawling, Bending, Twisting
  • Potential exposure to infectious diseases

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement:

Being fully vaccinated is essential for this role, with exemptions considered.
