Job Description:

Join our team as a Laboratory Technician and contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing various specialized tests across different laboratory areas such as chemistry, hematology, and microbiology.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform a range of testing levels from waived to highly complex as per CLIA standards.
  • Conduct chemical, bacteriological, serological, or microscopic tests.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment, troubleshoot instrument issues.
  • Prepare reagents, standards, and controls following protocols.
  • Assist in teaching laboratory procedures and tests.
  • Stay updated on new testing techniques and suggest additional tests when necessary.
Skills:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of laboratory operations.
  • Familiarity with various laboratory departments and processes.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in PC word processing and spreadsheets.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

At least 1 year of laboratory experience.

Education:

  • Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or equivalent OR Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • MLT (ASCP), MT(ASCP), or MLS (ASCP).
