Dal-Tile is currently looking for an exceptional Customer Account Representative in the Supply Chain department to join our team. As the Customer Account Representative, we need an individual ready to deliver various forms of support such as top-notch service, order processing, and issue resolution.

About the Role:

  • Ensure effective coordination between the Company and its customers with high-level service and support.
  • Process sales orders and resolve customer issues.
  • Establish and maintain positive business relationships to promote company objectives.
  • Provide customer account management services including order entry, product information, pricing, and inventory inquiries.
  • Resolve complex customer requests and problems, communicating solutions effectively.
  • Collaborate with various teams and leaders to address customer inquiries and order issues across the board.
  • Utilize computer systems like SAP, Salesforce, and IBM Sterling for order management.
  • Respond to critical customer needs and demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving.
  • Independently manage tasks within the functional area, including leading special projects.
  • Analyze and interpret data to offer customer solutions and contribute to group efforts.

Experience and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 7 years of customer service or account management experience, with a focus on customer account management preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of manufacturing or flooring industry is beneficial.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Outlook and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with efficient time management.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment.
