Job Title: Converting Supervisor

Reports To: Converting Superintendent

Salary: $70,000+ Depending on Experience

Summary:
Supervise a team in producing quality corrugated products efficiently while minimizing waste.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management.
- Establish high morale by showing fairness, consistency, and interest in employee problems.
- Manage inventories of supplies.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with the supervisor.
- Enforce corrective actions and conduct meetings.
- Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings.
- Implement and support company policies, safety program, and housekeeping.
- Directly supervise department employees.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities according to policies and laws, including training, performance appraisal, conflict resolution, team building, and more.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Two years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the corrugated industry.

Necessary Skills:
- Leadership, time management, crisis management.
- Teaching, training, coaching, and interpersonal communication.
- Reading, writing, and speaking effectively.
- Mathematical skills and technical knowledge.
- Understanding of quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Physical capabilities to meet job demands.

Work Environment:
The job involves exposure to moving parts, wet/humid conditions, heights, particles, and loud noise.
