Position: School-Based Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Highland Park, IL
Dates: ESY June 10th, June 27th, 2024
Hours: 16 hours/week (Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm)

Our well-established staffing organization and its affiliates are proud to partner with school districts in the Highland Park, IL area to provide students with the healthcare services they need for a successful Extended School Year (ESY) session. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated School-Based Registered Nurse for a summer contract position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care and support to students during the ESY session.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor student health and respond to medical emergencies or needs during school hours.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation.

Educational and Licensing Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
  • CPR certification.
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience as an RN, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
