- Hours: Full-Time (36 hours)
Shift Details:
Thurs, Friday, Sat, with rotating call schedule

Additional Perks:

Responsibilities:

MRI Technologist duties include operating a magnetic resonance scanner to produce images for physician diagnosis and treatment. The role entails possessing a deep understanding of magnetic resonance imaging principles, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, preparing patients for examinations, administering IV contrast agents, and conducting routine scans. Effective communication, coordination, and documentation are essential to meet patient and team needs effectively.


Requirements:
- Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year College or Technical School, or one year of relevant experience - Current ARRT (R) (MR) or NMTCB registry - Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association - Ability to interact with individuals of all ages - At least one year of MRI Technologist experience in a hospital setting preferred

Physical Demands:

Ongoing visual and verbal interactions with patients and colleagues, manual dexterity for equipment operation, and lifting and transferring patients are key aspects of the role. The job will also involve walking, bending, and standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

The hourly rate for this position varies based on experience, starting at $55.57.
