The Loss Control and Safety Support Analyst will work alongside the Loss Control Officer to oversee and assess comprehensive safety and loss control initiatives for the State of Georgia.

Job Responsibilities:

Under supervision, the position will carry out a variety of office and field administration tasks for the loss control programs. Duties may be complex and involve handling confidential information.

This role involves researching, investigating, and evaluating loss control and safety issues to help develop policies, procedures, and programs to cater to the needs of State Agency clients. Some travel may be required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Interpersonal and people management skills
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong decision-making and negotiation abilities

This role may involve occasional travel.

Completion of a pre-employment background check is mandatory.

DOAS operates within a hybrid work setup and

MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience OR Four years of related experience.

  • Commercial Insurance Carrier Loss Control experience
  • Insurance Agency Claims Operations experience
  • Environmental Health and Safety experience
  • Risk Management Information Systems platform experience
