We are seeking a highly-motivated Product Regulatory & Compliance Leader to join our team based in Washington, DC.

Role and responsibilities:
Monitoring and understanding new and upcoming regulations, standards and regulatory trends.
Support central regulatory and compliance team with translation and interpretation of legislation, regulations and standards into technical requirements.
Align with Global Regulatory Intelligence team and Business on lobby and standardization strategy.
Represent ASML on technical matters in taskforces, workgroups in associations and standardization committees.
Maintain an extensive network to ensure that ASML is optimally placed in its understanding of regulatory and compliance environments.
Maintain a network to support the approbation of ASML products in country.
Arrange the approbation and certification of ASML products in country and arrange local inspections.
Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Education and experienceRequires a BS or MS in Physics, Electronics, Opto-Mechanics, Chemical Engineering or other related science discipline.10+ years experience in a technical engineering leadership and project leadership.

Proven track record dealing with standardization and conformity assessment.
A passion to match the targets in these fields realistically with business constraints.
Translate technical challenges into regulatory aspects.

SkillsProactive, entrepreneurial, business-oriented working attitude and a proven understanding of the value of shaping regulations and standards towards business needs .Excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiating abilities.

Other informationThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.).
