A top 20 firm is hiring a Tax Senior or Manager to the team - must have experience in private client tax from a CPA firm.


Team Collaboration :
Collaboration is key to meeting department and client deadlines. This involves effective communication, task delegation, and ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.

Tax Engagement Management :
Leading and managing multiple tax engagements requires careful planning and coordination.

This includes integrating tax efficiency with long-term planning strategies, staying updated on tax laws, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.


Client Interaction and Strategy :

Presenting federal and state income tax returns involves not only preparing the necessary documents but also strategizing with clients to optimize their tax situation.

This may involve identifying deductions, credits, and other tax-saving opportunities.

Experience with Business Entities :

Working with various business entities, such as corporations and partnerships, requires an understanding of their unique tax implications and compliance requirements.


Financial Statement Preparation :
Managing the process of financial statement preparation involves ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This may include overseeing the compilation and review process.
Tax Return Preparation and Review : Experience in preparing and reviewing various types of tax returns is essential.

This includes business tax returns (e.g., 1120, 1120S, 1065), trust returns (1041), and personal returns (1040), as well as analyzing schedules such as Schedules C & E.


Financial Analysis :

Performing financial analysis, including balance sheets and income statements, helps to understand clients' financial positions and identify areas for improvement or optimization.


Tax Projections :

Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax projections involves forecasting future tax liabilities and planning accordingly to minimize tax exposure.


Client Relationship Management :
Managing various client relationships involves providing excellent service, addressing client concerns, and proactively identifying opportunities to add value.

Supervision and Training :
Providing supervision, training, mentoring, and guidance to team members fosters professional development and ensures high-quality work output.
