This position is eligible for a sign on bonus.


Summary Under the direction of a licensed Nurse and with respect for human dignity delivers a variety of high quality, basic patient care services that meet the needs and uniqueness of assigned patients.

Is responsible for the delivery of quality care and service excellence; and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior.

Education Must meet one of the following requirements:


Licensure Certification Must have current CPR at or above the Healthcare Provider level from the American Heart Association or obtain within 60 days of hire.

EMT/CNA/Paramedic certification preferred.

Other Qualifications Prefer one year minimum of experience working in the patient care setting, preferably as a patient care giver.

Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrates ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must be able to attend four (4) days of New Hire/Patient Care/EPIC Orientation. Typical Orientation schedule is Monday (All Day), Tuesday (All Day), Wednesday (All Day) and Thursday (All Day).

  • current CNA, EMT or Paramedic certification, or must take Parkview's Patient Care Foundations course at time of hire;
  • 2 years' experience in a healthcare related field, training time will be determined based on experience;
  • currently enrolled in nursing school having completed first clinical rotations;
  • if hired prior to 12/3/18, two (2) years military medical experience will be accepted.
  • If candidate is at least 17 years of age but does not yet have a current high school diploma/GED, must meet the following requirements: must be actively working towards high school diploma/GED and receive within 1 year of hire.
