Day Shifts, 10 hours (10.5 hours with unpaid lunch), varied days, rotating weekend shifts, including on-call rotation after hours for echo.


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Echo Tech to join our healthcare team in Reno, NV, for a 13-week contract.

The ideal candidate will perform adult echocardiography using advanced ultrasound techniques to provide high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Responsibilities include conducting echocardiograms, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform adult echocardiography to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and adjust techniques as necessary.
Prepare and operate echocardiography equipment.
Position patients to capture the appropriate images.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Rotate on-call duties for after-hours and weekends as scheduled.

Requirements:
Certification in adult echocardiography through CCI or ARDMS (RCS or RDCS).
Preferably a two- or four-year degree in ultrasound technology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle rotating shifts and on-call duties.

Additional Information:
Shifts are 10 hours, with varied days and rotating weekend shifts.
On-call rotation is required after hours for echo procedures.
Flexibility and adaptability are essential to meet the dynamic needs of the department.
