We emphasize safety, compatibility, and a mindful matchmaking process._A warm and welcoming family in Montclair, NJ, seeks an experienced, warm, and engaging full-time nanny for their 3.5-year-old daughter and almost 3-month-old son
The schedule is 8:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Flexibility is needed, and some extra hours will be available on occasion.
The eldest child is in school from around 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. Most of the day will be spent with the baby and afterschool activities with both children.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Driving to and from school and activities.
- Engaging the children in ageappropriate activities, including reading, outdoor play, taking them to the park, playdates, and indoor play.
- Supporting the achievement of ageappropriate milestones (e.g., sitting up, eating solids, rolling over, crawling, sleep/potty training)
- Helping to set & keep the children on a schedule (e.g., regular feedings, naps, bathtime and bedtime)
- Meal preparation, introducing solids, preparing purees.
- Childrelated chores and errands, including dishes & children's laundry and keeping the children's room and main spaces clean and tidy, restocking childrelated items.
Both parents work full-time: Mom works from a home office, and Dad works in New York City four days per week (WFH on Fridays). They are occasionally required to travel for work.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant nanny experience, including with newborns.
- Experience with multiple children.
- 23 valid references.
- Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
- CPR/Infant certified (or willing to get it renewed)
- Driver's license and experience driving with children.
- Great communication skills.
- Active, engaging, and nurturing.
- Able to swim (family has a pool)
Compensation:
Legal pay, starting at approximately $1500 NET (take-home after taxes) per week based on a 50-hour-per-week schedule.
Additional compensation for hours worked after 50 hours a week.
Pay:
From $1,500.00 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
