Job Description

Field Supervisor

As a Field Supervisor, your main focus will be on overseeing Traffic Controllers, providing guidance, and support. You'll be spending the majority of your time in the field, with some office work involved. Daily tasks include planning job inspections route, stocking vehicles with necessary signs, equipment, and supplies. Your responsibilities also involve traveling to job sites, inspecting them for safety and quality compliance, and handling all associated paperwork.

This role reports directly to the Operations Manager at the location.

Responsibilities:

  • Master all Crew Lead tasks
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and maintain detailed records
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols at all sites
  • Confirm availability of required equipment and ensure workers are briefed on equipment usage
  • Help maintain updated worker schedules and assist in meeting client requirements
  • Provide backup support for evening and weekend calls as necessary
  • Be flexible with work hours and available for weekend shifts
  • Help uphold vehicle cleanliness and working condition standards
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs
  • Report to the Senior Field Supervisor
  • Understand and follow safety manuals and handbooks
  • Carry out any additional assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and the public
  • Basic computer skills
  • Prior experience in team leadership and supervision is essential
