Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, bills of materials, and other instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Utilize handheld and power tools for assembly
  • Perform visual checks to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identify and document product defects
  • Rework and repair equipment to meet requirements
  • Work in compliance with quality standards and safety procedures

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cut, form, and deburr copper tubing based on engineering drawings and schematics
  • Use a tape measure accurately
  • Knowledge of refrigeration components such as tubing, fittings, and valves
  • Brazing certification
  • Read and understand engineering drawings and piping diagrams
  • Perform various tasks related to electronic components and wiring
  • Conduct functional testing and diagnostic tests as needed
  • Charge and test refrigerant
  • Join a union
