Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, bills of materials, and other instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Utilize handheld and power tools for assembly
- Perform visual checks to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and document product defects
- Rework and repair equipment to meet requirements
- Work in compliance with quality standards and safety procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Cut, form, and deburr copper tubing based on engineering drawings and schematics
- Use a tape measure accurately
- Knowledge of refrigeration components such as tubing, fittings, and valves
- Brazing certification
- Read and understand engineering drawings and piping diagrams
- Perform various tasks related to electronic components and wiring
- Conduct functional testing and diagnostic tests as needed
- Charge and test refrigerant
- Join a union
