Jefferson Health New Jersey is looking for a full-time general Cardiologist to join their community physician group, Jefferson Medical Group. This is a chance to be part of a newly established and fast-growing general cardiology practice, currently comprising 2 Physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider.

The ideal candidate will need excellent clinical skills to practice outpatient and inpatient general and consultative cardiology. A strong interest in echocardiography is a must, with at least COCATS level 2 training and NBE board eligibility or certification.

Key responsibilities:

  • Outpatient general and consultative cardiology office practice
  • On-call coverage
  • Participation in the echocardiography laboratory and stress testing
  • Future involvement in patient care on the cardiac consultative and inpatient services

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold an MD/DO degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases. Advanced training in echocardiography/imaging is necessary. A valid medical practice license in New Jersey is required.
