The Role


This role is responsible for research and/or product development encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, and/or chemical.

Submarine engineering experience a must. Highly desired experience with work/engineering within the SUBSAFE, FBW and/or DSS-SOC areas. Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant exempt experience;
Master's Degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience;
Ph.
D. and 4 years of experience.

Nice to Have
