ColWill Engineering, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated
Sheetmetal Apprentice in the
Tampa, FL area to join our team. Performs the full range of Apprentice level duties for Sheet Metal in the construction, finishing, repair, etc. of buildings.

We are currently offering a competitive range for this full-time position, Monday through Friday. (In-person)

What this Role will Do:

  • Measure, mark dimensions and lay out material to be installed.
  • Installing hangers and all related hardware through corridors, confined spaces and other large passages.
  • Installation of commercial sheet metal duct systems using a variety of equipment.
  • Installing various types of metal duct, including (round, spiral, rectangular).
  • Fasten joints and seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, caulk, bolts and metal driver clips, ensuring work is done carefully and bonds will last.
  • Ensure that efficiency is maximized while installing HVAC systems.
  • Installing various types of units that vary in medium to large tonnage
