JOB TITLE: Life Enrichment Director at Prestige Assisted Living
POSITION SUMMARY
The Life Enrichment Director (LED) is responsible for coordinating, directing, planning, and conducting the life enrichment and resident activity programs with creativity and dedication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops a vibrant life enrichment program following the Celebrations philosophy of wellness.
- Plans and executes a diverse life enrichment calendar and newsletter monthly, incorporating Celebrations wellness programming.
- Collaborates with various team members to create special events and themes for residents, families, friends, and prospects, aligning with Celebrations focus plan.
- Organizes transportation for residents ensuring they get to events, appointments, and programs safely and efficiently.
- Utilizes Linked Senior technology to enhance daily programming and encourages resident independence.
- Creates person-centered programming by contributing to Celebrations documents and activities.
- Works in partnership with the Expressions Director to design and lead monthly programming for the Expressions neighborhood.
- Manages the life enrichment budget, equipment, and supplies effectively.
- Participates in reviewing Residents' Service Plans regularly to monitor life enrichment progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Provides training to staff on the significance of life enrichment activities and technology to ensure resident engagement and quality of life.
- Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to support life enrichment initiatives.
- Collaborates in planning resident move-outs with the management team.
- Builds community resources and networks to improve residents' quality of life.
- Performs additional duties as delegated.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in transporting residents preferred.
- Minimum of one year of direct programming experience with older adults is desirable.
- Must meet insurance requirements to operate company vehicles including passenger vans and buses.
- Possession of a valid commercial Class B driver's license (CDL) may be mandatory as per regulations.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through education, training, and experience.
