About the Role:
As the Safety Solutions Specialist at Grainger, reporting to the Senior Manager, Safety, you will collaborate with a diverse range of customers to conduct hazard and risk assessments, identifying opportunities to enhance their safety programs. By leveraging Grainger's products, services, and resources, you will design solutions to mitigate risks and strengthen the relationship with these organizations. Working closely with the Grainger sales team, you will create strategies to address customer needs effectively.
- Conduct needs analysis to align customer requirements with Grainger’s offerings
- Engage Grainger resources to develop and implement solutions
- Drive implementation plans with customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction and gather feedback for future improvements
- Stay updated on Safety Regulations and industry trends
- Educate customers on market changes and technological impacts
- Explore innovative solutions to meet customer needs profitably
- Enhance customer utilization of Grainger’s products and services
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the EHS industry
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Public Health, or equivalent
- CSP certification is preferred
- Experience in workplace assessments and safety compliance
- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental best practices
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry standards
- Basic project management skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Strong desire to assist others
Location:
Customers supported will predominantly be in Arizona.
