Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate various types of machinery used in the production process.
- Set Up Machines: Prepare machines for production by setting up the necessary components and ensuring correct settings.
- Monitor Production: Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products, making adjustments as necessary.
- Inspect Products: Perform regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain Equipment: Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve minor mechanical problems with machinery, reporting major issues to maintenance personnel.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following best practices to prevent accidents.
- Keep Records: Maintain accurate records of machine operations, production quantities, and any maintenance or repair activities.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel to achieve production goals and resolve any issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of machinery and production processes.
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
- This position is typically performed in a manufacturing or production facility.
- Work may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and varying temperatures.
- The role requires standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- The job may involve shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Manual dexterity and coordination to handle machine controls and perform adjustments.
- Visual acuity to inspect products and monitor machine operations.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
