Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in manufacturing and production processes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate various types of machinery used in the production process.
  • Set Up Machines: Prepare machines for production by setting up the necessary components and ensuring correct settings.
  • Monitor Production: Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Inspect Products: Perform regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain Equipment: Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve minor mechanical problems with machinery, reporting major issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following best practices to prevent accidents.
  • Keep Records: Maintain accurate records of machine operations, production quantities, and any maintenance or repair activities.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and quality control personnel to achieve production goals and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of machinery and production processes.
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
Work Environment:
  • This position is typically performed in a manufacturing or production facility.
  • Work may involve exposure to loud noises, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • The role requires standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • The job may involve shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination to handle machine controls and perform adjustments.
  • Visual acuity to inspect products and monitor machine operations.
  • Stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
