Location: We are seeking an Optometry Assistant to join our team in the Baton Rouge, LA area with a travel radius up to about 2 hours. Paid drive time and mileage stipend Most facilities are within an hour of the metro area, working full-time up to 4 day's per week and off Friday's. For this role we are offering pay from $ $20.00 Per Hour with fifty cents per mile, and benefits as well Duties:
  • Arrive before the doctor to get the clinic set up at the facility.
  • Transport patients to and from the exam area at the facility.
  • Assist the doctor with vision pretesting, working with glasses and scribing as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License with no moving violations in the last 5 years.
  • 1 year relevant work history, preferably in long term/senior care.
