In our journey of growth, we are looking for a skilled and seasoned Commercial Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As a Commercial Construction Estimator, you will be vital in the pre-construction phase by providing precise and comprehensive estimates for diverse commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5+ years of experience in diverse commercial construction estimating, showcasing an in-depth understanding of industry best practices and a proven track record of successful project deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and precise quantity take-offs from project plans and specifications.
- Analyze project documents to identify potential challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for accurate estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Utilize cost databases and historical data to enhance the accuracy of estimates.
- Stay informed about market trends, materials costs, and construction technology advancements.
- Participate in bid meetings and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
- Proficient in construction estimating software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully bidding and securing commercial construction projects.
