Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Construction Telehandler Operator is responsible for operating a telehandler to move, lift, and position materials and equipment at construction sites. This role requires the operator to be highly skilled in maneuvering telehandlers in various conditions and ensuring the safety and efficiency of material handling operations.
Location: Piedmont, SCSalary: $26 Per Hour ($150 SIGN ON BONUS INCLUDED )Hours: 830am to 5pm (Monday - Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operation of Telehandler:
  • Safely and efficiently operate a telehandler to transport materials and equipment around the construction site.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks or storage areas, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
  • Place materials at specified locations using the telehandler, including placing materials at heights or within confined spaces
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the telehandler to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and any incidents or near-misses.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Training and Certification:
  • Participate in required training sessions and maintain up-to-date certifications for telehandler operation.
  • Stay informed about new telehandler models, technologies, and best practices in material handling.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a telehandler operator in a construction setting.
  • Familiarity with construction site protocols and material handling procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and instructions.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with site teams.
  • Certification:
  • Valid telehandler operator certification..
