We are currently looking for a Composite Layup Technicians.

  • Perform layup techniques (with or without core) using prepreg material and wet layup
  • Use hand tools in a safe and efficient manner in order to shape and form simple components
  • Perform basic math computations, to include adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. Square Foot and Linear Yard calculations
  • Ensure parts meet all quality standards and guidelines prior to presenting for inspection
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area and comply with all safety regulations (PPE, MSDS, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings
  • Work Orders and customer documentation is complete, accurate and legible

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 13 years' experience in layup techniques training is provided.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data such as blueprints or manufacturer's instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Attention to detail is strongly required for this position
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

ITAR Requirements:

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Schedule:

  • 8hour shift
