Looking to join a large service and repair pump shop? Currently, they are searching for a skilled HBM Manual Machinist to join their team. This role involves machining parts for pump repairs and other rotating equipment based on work orders, blueprints, sketches, or charts.

The ideal candidate must have experience in manual machining on various equipment such as lathes, small mills, Bridgeport style mills, and vertical turret lathes (VTLs). In this position, you will be responsible for machining parts, conducting quality control checks, and assisting with assembly and repairs.



Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a manual machinist
  • Proficiency in operating lathes, mills, VTLs, and HBM machines
  • Experience with machining on rotating equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Skills in troubleshooting and repair machining on pumps
  • Extensive experience in HBM operations
  • Desire to work overtime when needed


Shift:

1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. The schedule consists of working 4 days a week for 10 hours each, with the possibility of additional hours on Fridays and occasional Saturdays, averaging around 50 hours per week. You will enjoy a 4-day weekend every other weekend.
