About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will coordinate and deliver exceptional respiratory care to patients. Your responsibilities will include performing diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and monitoring patients receiving mechanical ventilation.
Responsibilities may include:
- Operating acute care ventilators
- Maintaining department and hospital records
- Performing procedures with care and empathy
Requirements to Qualify
- Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
- American Heart Association BLS provider
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
- Must have critical thinking skills and work well in a stressful environment
- Customer service abilities
Key Responsibilities in the Role
- Conducting patient assessments and diagnostic procedures
- Administering respiratory care therapies
- Assisting with airway placements and mechanical ventilation
- Monitoring patient responses and intervening when necessary
Qualifications Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Associate Degree
