Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manager within our team. As a Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information for our clients.

Job Description

Strong organization and follow-up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments

Ability to give and follow instructions accurately and efficiently; proactive in asking clarifying questions to ensure work effort is directed wholly toward desired outcome

Demonstrates understanding of the importance of, and is willing to follow, current MP procedures; aligns with the MP vision, mission and core values

Ability to develop good relationships with clients and meet their expectations

Excellent interpersonal skills to handle multiple clients needs and requests

Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed

Aptness to mentor staff accountants/interns to increase efficiency and growth

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting

7+ years of public accounting experience within tax, or a blend of audit, financial statement and tax work

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, CCH Axcess and QuickBooks

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
