Job Summary:
7-acre private home estate located near Thunderbolt, GA consisting of a main house, guest house, utility house, and deep water dock is seeking an experienced property maintenance / handy person who will care for and provide upkeep on the estate and various mechanical systems, equipment, manage contractors, and assist with minor grounds keeping activities as directed by the owner. All major groundskeeping is done by a third party, weekly service. Part-Time / Flexible Schedule – seeking 12 (min) ~ 20 (max) hours per week, no weekend work required unless preferred. Desired Skillsets:
  • Mechanically minded.
  • Light Carpentry
  • Light Plumbing
  • Light Painting
  • Light Electrical
Character:
  • A generally kind person who treats others as he or she would want to be treated.
  • Trustworthy, Dependable
  • Self-starter, able to work alone with minimal direction.
Job requirements:
  • Proven multi-year experience (eg. home building, general maintenance, general contractor, sub-contractor, "Jack of all trades, master of at least one")
  • Must have own transportation to and from the job site.
  • Willing to submit to a health screening and background check prior to employment.
  • Able to lift 35 lbs
  • Able to work outdoors in various seasonal conditions.
  • Able to climb ladder / 17' max.
Salary: Commiserate with experience ($30~40 per hour)
