JOB OVERVIEW

The Club Manager assumes an exempt role primarily focused on ensuring the Club's financial prosperity by enhancing and developing staff, programs, services, and facilities. Leading the management team and all Associates, the Club Manager guarantees member satisfaction and surpasses service expectations. An essential aspect of the role involves making independent decisions daily to drive the Club's success and foster Associate growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Employee Management
  • Recruit, train, oversee, develop, and manage the employment lifecycle in line with company guidelines
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for Associates
  • Generate thorough performance reports
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Handle payroll responsibilities for supervised staff
  • Act as the Manager on Duty as needed
Club Operations
  • Regularly inspect the Club to uphold cleanliness, order, and safety standards
  • Establish and enforce member-centric operational protocols
  • Provide visible leadership to guarantee smooth and efficient Club operations
  • Execute financial oversight to achieve sales targets, control expenses, and plan strategically
  • Monitor daily financial performance and devise action plans for target achievement
  • Support budget planning and assist in long-term growth strategies
  • Review financial statements and establish departmental financial objectives
Communication and Partnerships
  • Engage and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including management, Associates, vendors, members, and guests
  • Promote harmonious relationships among different parties
  • Attend necessary events, programs, meetings, and training sessions
  • Uphold the TBCC brand and mission throughout all Club operations
  • Represent the club professionally in demeanor, communication, and responsiveness
Corporate Objectives and Development
  • Prioritize safety initiatives within the company
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures
  • Support Club objectives and facilitate continuous improvement by engaging in corporate initiatives
  • Emphasize ongoing professional growth and development

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Regulatory Expertise - Understanding of company policies and relevant laws and regulations governing managed properties

  • Financial Oversight - Basic awareness of economic principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and expense control
  • Sales and Marketing - Proficiency in service promotion, marketing strategies, and sales techniques
  • Analytical Thinking - Ability to anticipate and solve problems logically, weighing the costs and benefits of solutions
  • Effective Communication - Skilled in written and verbal communication, ensuring clear and concise exchange of information
  • Technological Proficiency - Capability to manage records using various software applications and club management tools
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 3 years in club management
  • Over 3 years of experience in personnel supervision and training
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to conduct comprehensive analyses and offer viable solutions
  • Experience in preparing detailed administrative reports and program analysis
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse workplace
  • Preferably, a Bachelor's degree
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this role regularly interact with members and clients, often encountering challenging situations. They transition between indoor and outdoor settings and must adapt to diverse environmental conditions. The role may include physical exertion and occasional travel to different locations.
