Summary: Support Technician

Monitor, maintain, secure, and support all levels of the core IT infrastructure for our global enterprise spanning 60+ remote locations, data centers and cloud data centers. Monitor the environment to ensure maximum security, stability, efficiency, performance, and integrity of global infrastructure resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • First-class IT support for OIA users in a global follow-the-sun support model.
  • Manage requests for support and assistance in the OIA ticketing system.
  • Receive, respond, and resolve issues for the users in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Work as a resource with other IT team members on various projects.
  • Execute the Onboarding and off boarding of new and departing users in Active Directory
  • Be a resource for IT training opportunities directed towards the OIA end user community.
  • Order, configure, and deploy computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Maintain the asset inventory database.

Education and Experience:
  • 2+ years of equivalent experience with Information Technology
  • Associate degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related subject preferred
  • Certification in CompTIA A+ preferred
  • Certification in one of the following desired: O365, MCSA/E, CCNA preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs/25 kg.
  • Infrequent regional travel.
