Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Fleet Manager to join our team at Badger, the largest provider of non-destructive excavating and related services in North America.

About the Role:

The Fleet Manager is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving fleet processes, programs, and assets. Providing regional fleet services while offering North American support as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a 1-year business plan in alignment with corporate and immediate managers' strategic plans.
  • Implement consistent fleet management practices, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Build relationships with Operations and Franchises to drive safe work practices and ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage fleet utilization, retirement, and replacement planning.

Qualifications:

Requirements for Success:

  • Education: Associates or bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, transportation, or relevant field preferred.
  • Certifications from NAFA or NATMI preferred.
  • Commercial Drivers License preferred.
  • 10+ years experience in heavy machinery, vocational equipment, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Expert knowledge of driving, delivery, vehicle maintenance, and industry practices.
