Are you ready to make a significant impact on the lives of patients? As a Regional Account Manager at AstraZeneca, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop long-term relationships with physicians, extended prescribers, and other customers in the assigned territory.

```Accountabilities
```
As a Regional Account Manager, you will consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives in your assigned territory while maintaining the highest level of organizational ethics and compliant business practices.
You will create, maintain, and implement strategic account-specific business plans reflecting the brand plan and an in-depth understanding of local market forces.
You will also collaborate closely with team members, including Institutional Account Manager(s), TLL(s), SAL(s), MSL(s), FRM(s), Market Access, Diagnostics, and other respective Enterprise partners.
Your role will require the ability to handle customer questions and objections in a way that is consistent with product indications and sales training methodology.
```Essential Skills/Experience:
```
- Bachelor's degree required
- Validated documented track record of delivering consistent "Premier" sales results
- 5 years pharmaceutical sales or Equivalent Experience (e.g., Biotech or Medical Device)
- Neurology experience strongly preferred
- Ability to build and/or strengthen lasting relationships with providers in physician practices and hospitals where access may be challenging
- Lead territory budget and adhere to Alexion code of ethics and compliance
- Ability to travel within territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and weekend travel
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Masters in Life Sciences or MBA a plus
- Bio/pharma; Neurology and/or Ophthalmology experience
- Navigate and work large Hospital systems, IDNs, and academic guiding hospitals
