Machinist Trainee

Description:Machinist Trainee-will be taught how to set up and operate CNC Machines, manual mills, manual lathes in order to produce precision parts in a timely manner.-Will be working with trainer step by step on machine-Teach them, show them, then show me
Job Duties:
- Position and Fasten work pieces
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and material onto machine
- Select the appropriate tools and materials to be used
- Machine parts to specifications
- Set up, Adjust, and Operate all of basic machine tools
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and gauges
- Read and Understand gauging sheets.
