Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPer Diem RN is needed for our 16-bed Acute Stabilization Unit (ASU) in Providence, RI. The ASU delivers trauma-informed, client-centered, quality care to adults in crisis, and to those seeking recovery from mental health and substance use disorders.

The unit's nurses are responsible for:

Assessing, monitoring, and documenting the psychiatric and medical needs of clients, and consulting with providers as neededProviding crisis intervention, milieu management, and health education as part of an interdisciplinary treatment teamAdministering medicationsReviewing referralsConducting assessments Reconciling and ordering medicationsNo restraints utilized as facility is voluntary.

We are seeking individuals who value learning and growth and who work well in an interdisciplinary, highly team-oriented setting. At the ASU we value training, supervision, and collaboration, and we are looking for RNs who promote these values.

This position involves a high degree of client interaction:
people skills and good bedside manner a must. Bilingual skills compensated.
