Job Description

An Employer is seeking a candidate for a Geomatics Support Engineer position in the Cincinnati, OH area. In this role you will be expected to

advise and demonstrate our geospatial products to customers, as well as participating in maintenance, development, revisions, testing and troubleshooting for our GNSS product portfolio. You will work closely with an internal engineering team to drive key aspects of optimization, implementation, and testing. You must be responsive and flexible, with attention to detail, and able to succeed in a collaborative environment. Other responsibilities will include applying geomatics and computer science principles to resolve product issues, applying troubleshooting skills to analyze problems, research issues, and perform high level debugging and writing application notes, user guides and manuals to assist users. The Geomatics engineer will be required to travel 25% of the time to Midwest and Southeast clients to perform field tests and record data for performance analysis and interface with customer support to assist in resolution of product issues.

Skills and Requirements

BSc or MSc in Geomatics, Geodesy, Survey & Mapping, GIS, or a related field

1-5 years of user experience with GIS, GPS or GNSS products

Prior Customer Support experience

Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues GNSS background null
