Training Curriculum Developer at Cornerstone Building Brands

Job Description: As a Training Curriculum Developer at Cornerstone Building Brands, you will play a key role in developing and delivering training curriculum for instructor-led classes focusing on product installation, business development, and product knowledge. You will also be responsible for responding to inquiries from homeowners, trade show participants, and internal customers, as well as assisting with the HouseWorkx training program. Additionally, you will collaborate internally to promote company growth among Sales personnel in the designated region.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, schedule, and deliver training curriculum for product installation, business development, and product knowledge for internal and external audiences
  • Respond to inquiries from various stakeholders and ensure training materials are readily available
  • Support HouseWorkx training programs and events
  • Plan and conduct Ply Gem VSI Certified Installer classes
  • Collaborate with business associates to enhance product offerings and installation instructions
  • Assist in online training programs
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to drive growth and customer conversions
  • Build relationships with contractors and installers
  • Represent warranty policies and support Territory Sales Managers
  • Ensure compliance with Company safety policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Organizational Development, Construction Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years experience in building materials sales or training
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs effectively
  • VSI certification within the first year
  • Strong organizational and creative skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of vinyl siding products and industry is a plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Highly organized and customer-focused
  • Construction skills for building training walls
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Licensed driver with preferred bilingual abilities (Spanish)
  • Extensive travel required, up to 80%

Salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000, with additional benefits such as medical, dental, vision coverage, and paid time off. Compensation is based on various factors including role, location, skills, and experience.
