The Angry Jerk - Merriweather is looking for Cashiers/Assemblers to join our fast-growing team in a vital role We are looking for an experienced, passionate hospitality professional to provide leadership support to the Front of House team to provide superb hospitality to both our guests and our community.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are consistently prepared and served according to presentation standards and recipes.
  • Accurately input orders and complete transactions not limited to cash, debit/credit orders, including Uber/DoorDash/GrubHub orders.
  • Be proactive in reaching our Company goals in sales, service, appearance; while creating a positive, fun and productive working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned (Reference Daily Job Responsibilities).
  • Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills are required.

Qualifications:

  • 12 years of restaurant cashier / assembler experience in a fastcasual, or upscalecasual restaurant.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment while effectively delegating tasks.
  • Must be proficient with computers and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead.

$ $22.09 per hour
